With a background in corporate life, I know all too well the challenges of working in high stress environments. Pilates offers both a moment of respite from a hectic life, combined with its unique benefits.

My Journey with Pilates

My journey into the fitness world has a unique twist compared to many other professionals. With a background in management and over 16 years in the corporate world, I intimately understood the challenges of long desk hours, looming deadlines, travel pressures, and the misconception of having no time for exercise. As a result, I began to feel the strain – neck and shoulder pain, a tightening lower back – something had to change!

In 2012, I took my first step into Pilates, and the impact was astonishing, even within just 10 sessions. Mindful movements and subtle body adjustments yielded remarkable changes.

Afterwards, life led me to the joy of mothering twins, but it also brought back the familiar foe of lower back pain. Seeking relief, I turned to private Pilates sessions. In that single hour, I found solace for both my body and mind. It was during one of these transformative sessions that I made a pivotal choice – to establish my own studio in Clapham, London. Following rigorous training at Polestar International, my home studio became a reality.

Since I began teaching, Pilates has evolved beyond a mere exercise routine; it's become a profound passion. It's not just about the physical aspect anymore; it's a way of life that I wholeheartedly embrace, and I'm thrilled to offer one-to-one Pilates sessions, focusing on personalized wellness journeys.
